What is your favorite thing about being a dance teacher at Brodhead Dance Academy?  My favorite thing about being a dance teacher at BDA is the community that comes along with it. I love seeing the kids blossom and grow into their own unique personality, and with the supportive community we provide they can do just that.

What age did you first start dancing? I started dancing with BDA at three years old!

Where did you receive your training and what certifications do you have? I danced for 15 years at BDA and transitioned to being a teacher there. I had the opportunity to demonstrate in many classes and believe that is where my love of teaching came from.

What words of advice do you have for our young dancers? Some words of advice I have for our little ballerinas would be to never let anyone dull your sparkle!   

Tell me about you in a few sentences. I grew up in Albany on my family’s farm showing sheep. I currently work at Ecco Salon in Verona as a cosmetologist. I always dreamt of being a dance teacher and now I’m living my dream!
