What is your favorite thing about being a dance teacher at Brodhead Dance Academy?  I enjoy teaching because I love watching dancers learn to believe in themselves, to trust themselves and explore all that they are capable of doing!

What age did you first start dancing? I started at age 3.

Where did you receive your training and what certifications do you have? I trained under Martha Bullock, Melissa Steiner, Forest Hills Dance Academy and Sheri Greenfield. I was chosen as a Universal Dance Association dancer where I traveled to London, England and performed for the Royal Family. I have coached several local school dance teams and have been teaching for over 30 years.

What words of advice do you have for our young dancers? Don’t take yourself too seriously, trust the path God has you on and JUST DANCE!! Reach for the moon because even if you miss, you will land among the stars!!   

Tell me about you in a few sentences. I love Jesus, coffee, being barefoot in the sun, by the water, in the mountains, on the farm, anywhere actually… as long as I am with the ones I love!! I truly enjoy helping people and making people feel special…I think it is so important in this life to love and love BIG!! I am so excited to have this opportunity with BDA and I can’t wait to work with your dancer!
